Computer Information Technology

Southern Arkansas University Tech’s Computer Information Technology program offers a two-year technical degree with a focus in computer support or computer networks. The program also prepares students for the A+, Network+, and Security+ CompTIA Certifications and the CCP and CCTP Cloud Computing Certifications. The Computer Technician curriculum is designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to install, maintain, and repair PC and Server hardware and systems, as well as furnish support services to system users. The program also focuses on computer systems security and networking. Students will receive hands-on training in computer operating systems, application software, network administration and installation, software installation and removal, computer maintenance and repair, hardware installation, and Cloud Computing skills. This degree is now also available​ online.
