The SAU Tech Testing Center provides secure, professional testing services for students, faculty, and the community. Whether you're preparing for college placement or need a certified testing environment, we are here to help you succeed.

Information About The Testing Center
The SAU Tech Testing Center is located on the second floor in Manning Hall. in Room 200 and is managed by our Enrollment Services team. Whether you’re taking a placement test, a CLEP exam, our center offers a secure and supportive environment for all testing needs. Appointments are required for all exams, and we’re here to help you schedule, prepare, and succeed. If you have questions or need assistance, our team is ready to guide you through the process.

The Testing Center remains open until
8:00 PM on the first Thursday of each month. Appointments are required for evening testing.

Testing Center Disciplinary Policy
The SAU Tech Testing Center is committed to providing a secure, professional, and distraction-free environment for all test-takers. To maintain the integrity of our testing services, we enforce strict behavioral guidelines. Students who violate these policies may face disciplinary actions—including permanent suspension from the Testing Center and university-level consequences.
Misconduct That Results in Disciplinary Action
Students will be banned from using the Testing Center for the remainder of their time at SAU Tech and referred to the Vice Chancellor of Student Services for any of the following offenses:
- Impersonation
Taking an exam using another student’s name or ID. - Cheating
Using unauthorized aids, copying or sharing answers, recording or photographing exams, or removing exam content without permission. - Theft
Removing any part of a test, answer document, or scratch paper from the Testing Center without staff approval. - Disruptive Behavior
Disrupting a testing session with verbal or physical outbursts, threats, or harassment toward staff or other students.
Response to Violations
By enrolling at SAU Tech, students agree to follow all rules and policies set forth by the university. The responsibility for maintaining campus discipline is held by the Vice Chancellor of Student Services, acting under the authority of the Chancellor and Board of Trustees. Violations of the Testing Center policy may result in further university disciplinary action in accordance with institutional regulations.
Response to Violations
If a student commits one of the above offenses, Testing Center staff will:
- Immediately dismiss the student from the testing room and collect all testing materials
- Report the incident to the Testing Center Coordinator
- Document the student’s name, exam type, and time of the incident
- Notify the student of the disciplinary process and refer them to the Vice Chancellor of Student Services
- Submit a full report to both the Director of Enrollment Services and the Vice Chancellor of Student Services
