Career Academy at SAU Tech
The SAU Tech Career Academy gives high school juniors and seniors a head start on their future by offering college credit for hands-on, career-focused courses—at no cost to the student. Courses are held on the SAU Tech campus and at our Magnolia satellite location, serving students from Ouachita, Columbia, Calhoun, and Dallas counties.
Tuition, books, and fees are fully funded by the Arkansas Department of Career Education.

Allied Health Program

Welding Technology
Train for high-demand jobs in welding and industrial maintenance using NCCER-certified curriculum.
Earn credit in:

- MM-1323 Intermediate Welding
- MM-2313 Advanced Welding
Students completing the sequence earn a Certificate of Proficiency in Welding Technology. Credits also apply to the AAS in Technology: Industrial Maintenance Emphasis.
