Computer Engineering Technology Instructor

This is an academic ten-month position with full benefits.
The instructor is to provide classroom and lab instruction to prepare students for technical knowledge and skills needed in the different computer science fields. This knowledge and skills will include the following methods:
 Establish an effective computer engineering program for high school students.
 Provide leadership for the computer engineering program.
 Coordinate the annual and long range departmental planning and evaluation processes.
 Ensure compliance with state mandated performance measures and utilize data for continual program improvement.
 Attend pertinent meetings in order to maintain professional growth and represent the Career Academy.
 Assume a leading role in the advisement of students in the computer engineering field.
 Oversee the ordering of supplies and equipment pertaining to the computer science professions department and maintain up-to-date inventory.

CNC Instructor

This is an academic ten-month position with full benefits.
The instructor is to provide classroom and lab instruction to prepare students for technical knowledge and skills needed in the production/manufacturing profession. This knowledge and skills will include the following methods:
 Establish an effective CNC manufacturing program for high school students
 Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of HAAS CNC lab equipment
 Must be familiar with the following equipment: CNC mill, CNC lathe, Industry Numerical Controllers (NC), Drill press, Manual drilling and milling. Swiss CNC Machining and Programming is a plus.
 Coordinate the annual and long range departmental planning & evaluation processes
 Ensure compliance with state mandated performance measures and utilize data for continual program involvement
 Attend pertinent meetings in order to maintain professional growth and represent the Career Academy
 Assume a leading role in the advisement of students in the CNC and Industrial Technologies field

Medical Office Administration Instructor

This is an academic nine-month position with full benefits. This position requires a commitment to teaching in a community college setting and the ability to successfully interact and respond to the needs of an academically and culturally diverse campus setting. The courses to be taught include: Medical Terminology, Medical Office Administration, Basic Pharmacology, Medical Coding, Medical Assisting, Medical Billing and Electronic Health Records. This position will be responsible for:

1. Teaching a minimum of 15 semester hours each fall and spring semester with instruction including, but not limited to, medical office administration courses.

Welding Academy Recruiter

The SAU Tech Welding Academy Recruiter will be responsible for recruiting students for the SAU Tech Welding Academy program and the Associate-level welding engineering degree program located in Magnolia, Arkansas. This is a twelve-month position with full benefits and is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institutional policy.

Specifically, the job assignment includes but not limited to:
1. Attend events for recruitment such as welding seminars, FFA conventions, SkillsUSA competitions, as well as visit high schools and career centers throughout the southern USA region.
2. Assist in maintaining required Academy files related to AWS certification records.
3. Teach in the Welding Academy lab when required.

Workforce Instructor

The position reports directly to the Director of SAU Tech Workforce Training. Duties will include but not limited to:
Develop and teach customized training for business and industries. Work closely with the SAU Tech Workforce Program Coordinator to identify potential clients and training opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:
Good communication skills; Experience in CNC machining, plasma cutting, welding, blueprint reading, general maintenance, and millwright skills; Experience in electrical and PLCs; Associate's Degree or complete within three (3) years of hire date; Background checks will be conveyed via email.
