Instructor (2 positions) - AR Fire Training Academy - Camden facilities

Paraprofessional/Court Liaison, located in Magnolia. This is a part time position, working 28 hrs/wk at $9/hr. Must have a high school diploma or GED (Associate Degree Preferred) and one year of classroom or office experience.
• Assist in office with normal clerical duties of a secretary/receptionist when needed.
• Conduct orientation/testing with students (testing, goal setting, class conduct/student contract, etc.)
• Assist teacher in the classroom (copies, grading homework, tests, etc.)
• Maintain student and court files
• Attend court proceedings and work with clients referred to Alternative Sentencing Program
• Prepare court reports and submit to Probation Office, Court Officials, Prosecutor, etc.
• Tutor students one on one as needed
• Maintain daily, weekly, or monthly attendance
• Call students who are absent from class on a daily basis. Keep call or contact log.
• Help clean and straighten classroom
• Assist in recruitment and retention of clients (make packets of flyers, brochures and sign-up sheets for festivals and presentations, etc.)
• Review student data in AERIS
• Perform other related responsibilities as required or assigned
