Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Elise Neal has built a career that spans more than 30 years across film, television, and theater. You've likely seen her in blockbuster films like Scream 2, the Oscar-nominated Hustle & Flow, and the Marvel hit Logan, which grossed over $400 million at the box office.

She's also well-known for her role on the sitcom The Hughleys, which earned her an NAACP Image Award nomination. In total, Neal has received eight NAACP Award nominations, including recognition for Best Comedy Actress and Best Supporting Actress.

But Neal's talents go beyond acting -- she's a trained ballet dancer, a producer, and an advocate for the arts.
