This program is fully accredited and licensed by the Cosmetology Section of the Arkansas Department of Health and is designed to prepare students to pass the National Esthetics Theory Examination developed by the National-Interstate Council of State Boards of Cosmetology (NIC).

Esthetics Program Overview

The Esthetics Technology Certificate program is designed to provide scientific/artistic principles and hands-on fundamentals associated with the art of skin care. The curriculum provides a simulated salon environment that enables students to develop manipulative skills. This program teaches students everything required to successfully pass the National Esthetics Theory Examination, the licensure examination for esthetics developed by the National-Interstate Council of the State Boards of Cosmetology (NIC).
