SAU Tech Hosts Holiday Toy Toss Event to Benefit Local CASA During Lady Rockets Basketball Game
Southern Arkansas University Tech (SAU Tech) is kicking off the holiday season with a heartwarming community event you won’t want to miss. On Wednesday, December 3, 2025, the Lady Rockets basketball game will feature a special Toy Toss to support the local Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program and children in foster care.
How the SAU Tech Toy Toss Works
Fans attending the Lady Rockets game are encouraged to bring new stuffed animals to donate.
The game starts at 5:30 p.m., and during halftime, spectators will get the chance to toss their stuffed animal donations onto the court—a fun and festive way to brighten a child’s holiday season.
A CASA Volunteer Coordinator will be on-site to accept the donations and share more about CASA’s mission to advocate for children experiencing abuse or neglect.
A Community Event That Makes a Difference
“This is a great chance for our community to come together and make a difference for kids who need comfort and care,” said Chris Coble, SAU Tech Athletic Director.
The Toy Toss is part of the larger Camden Holiday Events, inspired by Mayor Charlotte Young, which aim to bring the community together through seasonal celebration and charitable giving.
