The Arkansas Environmental Training Academy (AETA) at Southern Arkansas University Tech has partnered with Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) to provide OSHA-authorized safety and health training for the state of Arkansas.

The Arkansas Environmental Training Academy at SAU Tech is a host training organization for the TEEX Region VI OSHA Training Institute Education Center. Under the agreement, the Arkansas Environmental Training Academy is approved to teach TEEX courses using our own verified instructors and facilitators.

OSHA Courses Available

OSHA 510 - Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry
This course covers Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies, procedures, and standards as well as construction safety and health principles. Topics include scope and application of the OSHA construction standards. Special emphasis is placed on those areas that are the most hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guide.

OSHA 511 - Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry
This course covers Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies, procedures, and standards, as well as general industry safety and health principles. Topics include scope and application of the OSHA general industry standards. Special emphasis is placed on those areas that are the most hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guide.
