SAU Tech Student Aviation Club Awards First Scholarship

SAU Tech’s Aviation Maintenance Club Awards Scholarship

The SAU Tech Aviation Maintenance program’s student club awarded its first scholarship to Anthony Gardner. The scholarship was created for students who complete the program and take their FAA testing and earn the licenses needed to maintain aircraft by the FAA. The funds are for those who successfully complete this process to provide tools for them to take on their first job after graduation. Gardner is a former KC-135 Air Force Crew Chief who worked for four years in that capacity before coming to SAU Tech to earn his AirFrame and PowerPlant certifications and an associate of applied science in aviation maintenance. For more information on how you can help fund more scholarships like this one, call 870-574-4488.
