Southern Arkansas University Tech is pleased to announce the formation of the SAU Tech Choir for fall 2017. The choir is open to community and students and auditions started at the beginning of April. The choir was formed to showcase the singing talent that in the Camden area.

Chancellor, Jason Morrison, says that “ including a choir in SAU Tech’s future is a way to bring the community to the college and to take the college to the community. During our recent Tech Idol event it was evident to me that we have enormous talent here in south Arkansas and a choir is a natural way to showcase that talent for the enrichment of our students and our community”.

The SAU Tech Choir is led by Carissa Lewis who is currently the Choir Director and Psalmist for Greater New Calvary Church of God in Christ. A limited number of scholarships are available and a scholarship is not required to join the choir. Community members who wish to participate must audition and pay a one-time $50 fee to join.
