Registration Process

Note: Print this page. ALL steps must be completed in order for registration to be complete.

Step 1. Admissions/Application
(Note: All new students and students that have not attended SAU Tech in the last three (3) years must complete this step before going to "Step 2.")

  1. Complete the Application for Admission Form and mail or fax to the address or fax number provided on the form
  2. If you are an Arkansas Environmental Academy or Arkansas Fire Academy non-credit student, proceed to Step 2
  3. If you are a full-time or degree seeking student, the following documents should be sent to the Admissions Office:
    • Immunization Record (if born after 01/01/57 with proof of either mumps shot or MMR shot)
    • GED Scores or Official High School Transcript (unless you have 30 transferable college credit hours)
    • ACT, SAT or ASSET Test Scores
    • Official College Transcript(s), if applicable
  4. If you are a part-time degree seeking student applying for financial aid, the following documents should be sent to the Admissions Office:
    • Immunization Record (if born after 01/01/57 with proof of either mumps shot or MMR shot)
    • GED Scores or Official High School Transcript (unless you have 30 transferable college credit hours)
    • ACT, SAT or ASSET Test Scores
    • Official College Transcript(s), if applicable
  5. If you are a part-time degree seeking student not applying for financial aid, the following documents should be sent to the Admissions Office:
    • GED Scores or Official High School Transcript (unless you have 30 transferable college credit hours)
    • ACT, SAT or ASSET Test Scores
    • Official College Transcript(s), if applicable
  6. If you are a non-degree seeking student, the following documents should be sent to the Admissions Office:
    • ACT, SAT or ASSET Test Scores or, if applicable, official college transcript(s) with proof of Composition I and Intermediate Algebra (having earned a letter grade of "C" or higher)
  7. The Admissions Office will contact you notifying you of any items needed to complete your admissions file. Note: You will not be able to complete class registration until all needed documents are on file in the Admissions Office.

Step 2. Registration

  1. Once your admissions file is complete you will be issued a Student ID and PIN. Your Student ID and PIN will be activated no more than 24 hours after completion of you admissions paperwork.  Your Student ID is your social security number and your PIN is the last four digits of your social security number.
  2. You will register for your classes via "Campus Connect". Click here for instructions on use of Campus Connect. Note: If you are not able to log on to Campus Connect, you should contact the Admissions Office at 870.574.4558 to verify that your admissions file is complete.
  3. All first time Internet students are required to enroll in "Learning Strategies." This course must be completed before your will be given access to your other course(s). If you are a first time online student, you will be prompted, "You do not have the necessary co-requisite to take this course." Go back and register for Learning Strategies and then you will be able to add your other online courses.
  4. To register online select one of the following click here.
  5. You will be able to view your bill from within Campus Connect by selecting Review/Pay Account from the Student Information drop down menu.

Step 3. Fee Payment

  1. Fee Schedule
  2. Payment can be made by cash, personal check, credit card (VISA or MasterCard), or payment plan through FACTS Tuition Management Company's e-Cashier.
    • If paying by credit card, call 870-574-4461 and provide necessary information.
    • If paying by personal check, mail payments to:

    • Click here to set up a payment plan through FACTS Tuition Management Company's e-Cashier.

Payments made with cash must be done in person.

Payment for tuition and fees are due on the last business day before classes begin.  If registering during late registration, payment is due upon registration.

Step 4. Textbook Order

  1. To order textbook(s), click here.
  2. Payment can be made by personal check, VISA or MasterCard.

  3. Textbook(s) will be shipped to you upon receipt of payment. Allow 7-10 business days for delivery.
