Instructor Bio
My personal story is kind of boring, so I'll make it really quick!
I was born in Arkansas, briefly moved to Fort Worth, Texas, then moved back to Arkansas.
I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communication and I love to talk, so it made perfect sense to start a career in Radio Broadcasting.
I worked in the radio business all over Arkansas but had a chance to teach radio in 1989. I really didn't know what I was getting into, but I took the job and haven't looked back since.
I taught Radio Broadcasting for five years, then added Television Broadcasting. I've now been teaching for over 17 years!
The cool thing is, teaching just keeps getting better and better. In the last year alone, I've had the opportunity to work with MSNBC, Court TV, NCAA Sports, BlaCon Media, Broken Sound Productions, and tons of others.
I've won lots of awards and honors, but my students are really what my story is all about now. I learn something new all the time and it's usually a student who's teaching me!
More is being added to my bio every day! Drop me an e-mail or contact me through our online form and I'll tell you what new and exciting project we're working on this week!
Cheers!
