ADMISSION/ENROLLMENT SERVICES The SAU Tech Admissions Office is responsible for student testing, admission to the college, academic advising, registration, and providing personal counseling services. This department also provides new student orientation activities for incoming freshmen and conducts the freshmen seminar classes. Just let us know what we can do for YOU! Apply Now Admissions SAU Tech is an open admissions college, which means we will not turn you down for admission; however, we have several items that you must provide in order to be admitted. Requirements for Admission Submit application for admissions. Submit a high school transcript or GED, and official college transcripts from all previously attended colleges (if applicable). Provide proof of 2 immunizations against measles, mumps and rubella. Take a placement test. Students enrolling must submit ACT or SAT, ASSET or COMPASS scores. Students can also take the ASSET or COMPASS test given at SAU Tech. Check you admissions online: To check your required items online, click here. Testing Services We provide testing services including Compass testing, ACT, and much more! Click here to see the current testing schedule, and don't forget to bring a picture ID and any fees required. To take the Compass, pay first at the Business Office and then go upstairs in the same building.(Administration Building) to the testing center and show your receipt and picture ID. You can always call for more info at 870.574.4486 or 870.574.4492. Advising & Registration After admission to SAU Tech, you will meet with one of our program advisors. Advisors are assigned to certain program areas, and you will be notified of which advisor you need to see when you go through the admissions process. For new students, advising is available during new student orientation which takes place before regular fall/spring registration begins. Your advisor can be reached by email or by phone, and the information can be found under "meet our staff" on this page. During advising your advisor will register you for classes and help you with any questions you may have. You can also register for classes online. Personal Counseling Services SAU Tech is aware that many of our students face personal challenges and difficulties while attending college, and with that in mind, the college provides personal counseling at no charge to students needing assistance.
