STUDENT LIFE/ACTIVITIES

Welcome to SAU Tech’s Student Life Office! We provide housing, intramural sports and other activities for students! Check out the Student Center located in the back of the business building (open 8:00a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily). Video games,a pool table and a workout room with new weight equipment are available for student use. The student life office also provides recruiting, campus tours and other activities such as EXPO and College Day.

STUDENT ACTIVITIES

Intramural (Team Sports)

SAU Tech offers Intramural games and tournaments throughout the year such as flag football and basketball. Intramural participants may include SAU Tech students and employees. Each participant is required to sign a release form. The number of teams and team sizes will be determined based on number of participants. See the SAU Tech Sport/Intramural Calendar for a schedule of events.

Outdoor Activities
Basketball and volleyball courts are available for student use, in addition to the lighted tennis court and the Highland Golf Course. Students MUST have a student ID. to check out sports equipment through the student life office.

Student Wellness Program
Benefits:

Helps students achieve a healthier lifestyle and to help increase their muscular ability.

Gives students an incentive to reach their goal - prizes are awarded after 20 points and 40 points are earned. (1 point earned per day of approved activity.)

Students will become more familiar with the SAU Tech campus and with fellow students.

Program Rules:

Be a current SAU Tech student.

Sign-up in the student life office in the Student Center.

Each 30-minute (or longer) activity must be approved by the student life office.

Document each activity in the student life office within 24- hours of participation.

Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Fridays 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Summer Hours:
Monday-Thursday 7:00 a.m.- 5:30 p.m.
