The Division of Extended Education provides community and workforce educational services through a broad range of programs for individuals, businesses, industry, government, professional organizations, and secondary schools in support of academic enhancement, economic development, career readiness, job skills, and community enrichment.
The Division serves as a bridge between the university and the community and assists both individuals and organizations with services that meet professional and personal needs for the purpose of creating a fully educated and informed community and workforce.
The Division is comprised of eight integrated service units that work closely with adult learners, high school students, local business and industry employers and employees, as well as community civic and social service organizations, economic development agencies, government entities, and public and private secondary schools. In addition, the Division maintains close ties with the College's Academic Division to help students and clients with a seamless transition into the College's academic degree programs.
