Campus Notices
A number of software applications are not yet compatible with Windows Vista. ITS is currently evaluating applications in use at SAU Tech, and will determine the appropriate time for deployment and support of Windows Vista.
Microsoft Office 2003 users can use the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access 2007 file formats, to make it possible to open, edit, and save files in the new Office 2007 file formats. To have the Compatibility Pack loaded on your computer, submit a work order to ITS via e-mail to fbowen@sautech.edu.
Blackboard support recommends using the Mozilla Firefox browser when using the Blackblard Learning System Enterprise License which is what SAU Tech uses to deliver its online classes. To have this browser loaded on your computer, submit a work order to ITS via e-mail to fbowen@sautech.edu. This browser is free and is available for download at www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/. |
