SAU TECH ACADEMICS - Special Programs Community Technology Center - After School Tutoring Program
The SAU Tech Community Technology Center's after school tutoring program began February 17, 2004 with Camden Fairview Elementary, Intermediate and Junior High School students. The turoring program will provide asisstance through academic. Talented tutors will conduct one-on-one and small group tutoring for students participating in the program. Students are accepted into this program by teacher or parent referral.
Currently tutoring sessions for Camden Fairview students in grades 9-12 are held Monday through Thursday from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. at the Community Technology Center. Individualized tutoring can be scheduled for any child by contacting the Community Technology Center and completing an application. The Community Technology Center features the A+nywhere Learning System which is a computerized software program capable of assessing student academic needs and developing an individualized education plan assisting student learning and improving math, language, science and reading skills. Standardized ACT test preparation is also available through the Community Technology Center.
